Pranav Dhanawade's spectcular innings

ODD 1009 RUN ON AN ODD DAY
One could only dream about it. Pranav Dhanawade, a 15 years old school boy has set a benchmark in the history of cricket. He has broken a century old cricketing record of AEJ Collins by smashing over one thousand runs. He is the first batsman to do in any form of cricket in an innings.

He used only 323 balls to reached surmounting 1000 runs in just 395 minutes. One could call him a hitting machine as he has made these runs with the help of mind-boggling 59 sixes and 129 fours, with a strike rate of 318.38. He has finished his unbeaten innings with the team from KC Gandhi School scores 1,465 for three wickets. In his case odd played an important role as in his case miraculous journey everything was odd but with positive and unbelievable results.

Master-blaster Sachin Tendulkar tweeted: “Congrats #PranavDhanawade on being the first ever to score 1000 runs in an innings. Well done and work hard. You need to scale new peaks!”

He makes his father proud who is Mumbaiker rickshaw driver. His father told to media: “He has got cramps. I don’t know what to say but I feel proud that my son has achieved this.”
